PC Invasion Podcast #81

This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

Here we sit, on the cusp of another E3 tradeshow extravaganza. But never mind all that, Podcast 81 has some pre-E3 PC news and gaming to take care of first.

There were a few stories of note besides “game has E3 trailer” this week, and Tim and I will cover them all. Well, some of them. Dota 2, for example, has released Act One of its co-op Siltbreaker campaign. Tim has played it and has views.

Creative Assembly are hard at work in the Total War mines, preparing to extract about five different projects at once (not all of them Warhammer, either). Meanwhile, CD Projekt have had to deal with a very cyberpunk-like theft of documents relating to Cyberpunk 2077.

It’s also been tough out there for multiplayer shooters. Both Mirage and Battleborn have taken steps in an effort to boost their player numbers.

Before our minds and bodies are consumed by E3, Tim has been playing Final Fantasy XIV, and I’ve been looking at THQ Nordic’s Steam version of Silver. Ahh, 1999 nostalgia.
