Cliffe allegedly met a girl on an adult meet-up website which describes itself as the “The #1 Sugar Daddy Dating Site in the World”. Cliffe was then apparently in contact with the girl over numerous messaging systems. The girl, who is now 16, says that she had met with Cliffe on three separate occasions and was paid $300 for one hour of her time. According to the girl, Cliffe would pick her up and drop her off near her home.

Cliffe had also reportedly attempted to video the girl successfully recording parts of their encounter at his home without her permission. She subsequently asked Cliffe not to post the video online, which according to Cliffe, was never circulated. Cliffe also allegedly told the girl that the meeting arrangement “was technically legal as he was paying her for her time”.

Cliffe’s attorney has said that he is cooperating fully with this investigation which has been on-going since as far back as May 2017. Bail was set at $150,00 and Cliffe is expected back in court on Monday 5 February.
