Zenless Zone Zero Don’t Get Greedy event guide: All rewards and objectives

Finally, some real gameplay.

While combat and quests are the main focus of Zenless Zone Zero’s other events, the latest event puts players into a different kind of battle. Snake Clash is the main attraction in ZZZ’s Don’t Get Greedy event, and you’ll have to defeat other players in 2v2 matches to earn free rewards like Polychrome.

ZZZ Don’t Get Greedy event schedule

The Don’t Get Greedy event will last for a week in Zenless Zone Zero, kicking off on Friday, July 19 at 10 AM server time and ending on Friday, July 26 at 4 AM server time. To access the event, all you need to do is reach Inter-Knot Level 15 and complete the Agent Commission “Scarlet Invitation.” This becomes available super early in the game, so you shouldn’t need to grind too much.

To start the event, head to the Arcade on Sixth Street and select the Event Mode playlist. There, you’ll be able to queue up for 2v2 online Snake Clash matches against other players to obtain Snaky Vouchers that can be exchanged for the following rewards.

  • Polychrome x50 (4): 500 Snaky Vouchers
  • Boopon x1 (1): 800 Snaky Vouchers
  • Senior Investigator Log x1 (15): 60 Snaky Vouchers
  • W-Engine Energy Module x1 (10): 50 Snaky Vouchers
  • Bangboo System Widget x1 (8): 120 Snaky Vouchers
  • Advanced Freeze Chip x1 (10): 20 Snaky Vouchers
  • Advanced Ether Chip x1 (10): 20 Snaky Vouchers

Most of the rewards can be claimed multiple times. For example, you can claim a total of 200 free Polychrome during the Don’t Get Greedy event by exchanging 500 Snaky Vouchers four times. This is a great way to stock up on character enhancement materials without spending energy, especially since this event rewards Freeze materials that are great for Ellen Joe and Ether materials for Zhu Yuan.

ZZZ Snake Clash tips for Don’t Get Greedy event

The event is called Don’t Get Greedy for a reason. The key to winning Snake Clash duels against other Zenless Zone Zero players is patience. You don’t win by having the longest snake, but by having snakes longer than your opponents’. It doesn’t matter how long your snake is if you get obliterated in the final moments of a match.

Don’t use the boost button too often since it removes parts of your snake’s tail. Focus on eliminating other players instead of chasing down diamonds and crystals to grow. Remember, you only have to be longer than the other team.

If you lose all your length, there may not be any time left to get it back. Once you have a sufficiently sized snake, just play safe and patrol the edges of the arena so you don’t get eliminated.

You shouldn’t have to play too much Snake Clash to get all the free Don’t Get Greedy rewards, since the losing team still gets 500 Snaky Vouchers after each match. If you’re in need of a few extra pulls to get your dream S-Rank Agent, though, this is a great way to get some extra Polychrome.
