How to unlock the MP7 SMG in XDefiant

If you want to use one of the best submachine guns there are in the game, then you will need to complete the MP7 Base challenge, which will have you get 20 SMG Point-Blank kills. These kills will have to happen at less than five meters from your target, which makes things a bit chaotic, but you can choose modes such as Domination or Occupy where the enemy’s attention will be on capturing zones. Alternatively, you can choose Hot Shot so that you have more face-to-face encounters with enemy players, prioritizing small maps to decrease the distance between you and them once you pull the trigger.

Best MP7 loadout in XDefiant

Since the days of Modern Warfare 2 (the original one), I favored the use of submachine guns thanks to their mobility and fast ADS speed. In XDefiant, you will be able to choose a variety of attachments to elevate your MP7 to a weapon that can shoot fast and accurately, accompanying you during your sprints across the map:

The Lightweight Barrel will give you both a Movement Speed and ADS Speed bonus that will be perfectly complemented with the Pistol Grip, also granting a bonus to your Accuracy and Sprint-Shoot time. The latter value will also increase thanks to the Rear Grip, which also increases ADS Speed, with its ADS Stability debuff being countered by the Padded Stock, boosting your Recoil Recovery and Flinch Control. The Barrel Extender Muzzle is optional but will help you counter the Lightweight debuffs by compensating both Short and Medium Range.

Currently, there are only three different skins available for the MP7. These are the Mastery skins which will take quite a bit of time and will certainly require some Weapon XP Boosters to unlock. Most likely, newer skins for the MP7 will be introduced in later seasons, so be sure to level up your MP7 to equip the attachments detailed above and become a menace to the enemy team.
