XCOM FPS delayed until 2013

This article is over 12 years old and may contain outdated information

It seems that Take-Two Interactive are preparing to relaunch the XCOM with strategy title XCOM: Enemy Unknown, as opposed to the FPS edition to the series being developed by 2K Marin.
2K Marin’s (as yet unnamed) XCOM FPS has been delayed until 2013, with Take-Two deciding that Firaxis’ XCOM: Enemy Unknown should be the only XCOM game this year. The FPS is now expected at some part in the fourth quarter of the company’s upcoming financial year.
Last week saw the release of the first XCOM: Enemy Unknown screenshots. You can see them all here.
