Wuthering Waves Wild Scarlet location for Gorilla Gazer trophy

Defeat a rare enemy to earn free Astrite.

The world of Wuthering Waves contains several elite enemies that can be defeated to earn trophies and obtain powerful Echoes, but tracking them down isn’t always easy. The Gorilla Gazer achievement in Wuthering Waves requires you to defeat an enemy called Wild Scarlet, but it doesn’t give you an exact location to find it.

The only hint you have to go off of is that the Wild Scarlet is located in Dim Forest, which is the large region that comprises the southern portion of the Wuthering Waves map. That’s a lot of ground to cover, so it’s not exactly a helpful hint. If you want to get this achievement completed as fast as possible, here’s where you can find the Wild Scarlet in Dim Forest when playing Wuthering Waves.

How to Get the Gorilla Gazer Achievement in Wuthering Waves

You can find the Wild Scarlet in the Thorny Passage near the Giant Banyan and Violent Banyan in the northern part of the Dim Forest region. You can see its exact location marked on the map below.

You should be prepared for a fight when you reach the designated area since the Wild Scarlet is a level 120 boss with additional enemies protecting it. You’ll need a strong team of high-level Resonators to take them down.

As long as your team is level 60 on average and is equipped with upgraded Echoes, you should be able to defeat them with enough patience. Just avoid getting hit at all costs since a single strike is likely to deplete your entire health bar.

You’ll only get 10 Astrite for defeating the Wild Scarlet and claiming the Gorilla Gazer trophy in Wuthering Waves, but the real reward is the powerful Echo that is guaranteed to drop the first time you slay this elite enemy. Each of the rare red mist enemies in Wuthering Waves is guaranteed to drop a rare Echo after your first clear, so seek them out to get better drops and save your waveplates.
