Wuthering Waves: Yinlin Materials Farming Guide

Farm materials to prepare for Yinlin.

Yinlin is one of the most popular Resonators in Wuthering Waves, and she’s incredibly strong once you upgrade her and her abilities. If you’re saving up for Yinlin, then you can also prepare for her arrival by farming Coriolus and other enhancement materials that she requires.

Yinlin is not just a fan-favorite Wuthering Waves Resonator because of her design. Her kit is one of the strongest in the game and she has great synergy with existing characters like Calcharo, so plenty of players are saving their Astrite and Radiant Tides for her banner. Thankfully, it’s super easy to stock up on Yinlin’s ascension materials and other upgrade requirements ahead of time.

Where to Get Coriolus in Wuthering Waves

Coriolus is Yinlin’s primary ascension material in Wuthering Waves. It’s a large mushroom that grows on the sides of trees and rocks, so it’s easy to spot.

There are three main places to gather Coriolus in Wuthering Waves. The first Coriolus location is the Dim Forest at the southern edge of the map. Surrounding the giant tree where the Feilian Beringal boss resides, there are multiple bunches of Coriolus waiting to be collected. You can also find even more Coriolus in the ruins to the west of the Dim Forest as well. Finally, you can find two small Coriolus patches near the waters of the Desorock Highland on the northern edge of the map.

While you can collect a ton of Coriolus if you hit every location depicted on the maps above, you’ll still have to wait for the daily reset to hit before you can farm more. If you want to get Yinlin to the maximum level in Wuthering Waves, you have a few days of farming ahead of you. It takes 60 Coriolus to fully ascend Yinlin.

All Yinlin Upgrade Materials in Wuthering Waves

Other than Coriolus, Yinlin requires the same standard upgrade materials as most other Resonators in Wuthering Waves. If you don’t already have a solid stash of Whisperin Cores, Shell Credits, and other generic enhancement materials, here’s a list of everything that you need to grab for Yinlin.

  • 46 Group Abomination Tacet Cores
  • 4 LF Whisperin Cores
  • 12 MF Whisperin Cores
  • 12 HF Whisperin Cores
  • 4 FF Whisperin Cores
  • 170,000 Shell Credits

Farming Whisperin Cores and Shell Credits is easy enough — all you need to do is defeat enemies and spend some Waveplates — but you’ll need to farm a specific boss to stock up on Group Abomination Tacet Cores. These are obtained by defeating the Mech Abomination boss located in the Court of Savantae Ruins in Whining Aix’s Mire on the eastern side of the map. It’ll take a while to collect enough of them unless you have Crystal Solvent to burn, and even then there are a lot of boss battles in your future if you want to fully ascend Yinlin.
