How to play Cooking Impossible PVP Brawl in World of Warcraft

I have always been a fan of Capture the Flag modes in any game they appear in. Since the days of Call of Duty as I attempted to carry the flag to our control zone before getting blasted to oblivion or log into custom servers for Jedi Outcast – man, I’m old. World of Warcraft features PVP Brawls which are rotated every week. While you will not carry a flag per se, the spirit of Capture the Flag is still present in Cooking Impossible, in the form of ingredients.

Yes, Cooking Impossible is a Capture the Flag match, with the difference that you will need to collect up to 30 different ingredients across the Valley of the Four Winds. This is a contested territory, so neither the Alliance nor the Horde has official control of it, making every match extra spicy.

To take part in the Cooking Impossible PvP Brawl, you will need to talk to Nomi, a humanoid panda that you can find in the aforementioned Valley of the Four Winds during the duration of the event. From January 9 to January 16, you will be able to engage in exciting food battles against your opponents. It starts with all of you dropping into the Valley just like in a battle royale match. Everyone will then try to find an ingredient on the ground – which you can see in the mini-map – and then deliver it to their cook. The first to gather 30 ingredients wins. You can also attack opposing players to make them drop their ingredients and even steal them for your team.
