As a recent popular game has taught us, it’s wise to fear the old blood – but there’s less reason to fear the PC system specs for Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.
If you could run parent game Wolfenstein: The New Order, there’s a fine chance your machine can cope with this one too. The specs have been tweaked a little bit in the interim between The New Order’s release and the upcoming launch of this stand-alone prequel title, but while the GPU minimums have gone up (slightly) the CPU demands appear to have gone down a little bit.
The Bethesda blog revealed the system spec details, along with some pre-load dates for the game’s various platforms. On PC, pre-loading will be available from 1 May (with Wolfenstein: The Old Blood due on 5 May.)
Here are the minimum and recommended specs. Bethesda calls the latter “the benchmark of how to play the game as the development team intended it to be played.”
