When The Witcher series appeared on the PC it was pretty impressive but I think you’ll agree it’s come a long way since the first game. The Witcher 3 is probably one of the most anticipated games to come out next year which is partially down to the impressive engine that will drive the RPG.

Today CD Projekt RED celebrate the sixth birthday of Geralt of Rivia with an infographic demonstrating how the series has progressed, and more importantly, where it’s going with The Witcher 3. A sizeable six million copies of the Witcher series has also been sold which is not to be sniffed at.

“CD Projekt RED was built on the idea that giving gamers more is always worth it. Since the very beginning of our journey we have seen that the approach of inviting gamers into a dialogue with the developer is really important and can shake up the – sometimes self-destructive – business side of games. We hope you’ll stay with us for the years to come and that we will continue to make these changes together,” said Adam Badowski, Head of Studio, CD Projekt RED.
