It’s the question that never stops being asked when it comes to CoD games. The absolute hellscape XP farm that is Rust 24/7 in Modern Warfare 3 is always one of the most requested modes in the franchise. What we all want to know is, will it be rearing its ugly head once more?
Will we see a return of Rust 24/7 in Modern Warfare 3?
You can stop holding your breath as the return of the merry-go-round of death is already upon us. With the latest update on November 22, we have been given back Rust 24/7. Now, you can enjoy the repetitive five-second lifespan death pit until you have all the XP you need in Modern Warfare 3.
Rust 24/7 will no doubt make repeated returns to Modern Warfare 3 as the seasons go on. It is a player favorite due to its repetitive gameplay loop. Being able to spawn, kill, and die all within 10 seconds doesn’t take any talent, and can rack up the needed weapon XP in a few quick matches.
Rust 24/7 doesn’t take too much skill to get into. There is little room for error and no room whatsoever for movement. The best idea is just to find an angle to camp and hold it down as long as you can. This is usually until someone wipes the whole map with one cruise missile.
Rust usually leaves me pretty exasperated within a few minutes. However, for those of you who love the fast-paced and repetitive gameplay of it, you’ll be pleased it’s back. I have no doubt that this isn’t the last time we will see the appearance of the playlist in Modern Warfare 3, either. Activision likes to keep their player happy by springing it on us at least once a season.
