Nintendo has promised to confirm the European release date of the Wii U later this week, on Thursday 13 September at 3pm British time.
The promise of a release date reveal comes in the form of a tweet from Satoru Shibata, president of Nintendo of Europe, and will happen during a Nintendo Direct conference. Said conference can be streamed live here.
A Wii U event in New York at the same time will confirm the North American release date for the console.
There’s no word on whether this Thursday will also shed some more light on the price of the console or any bundle/package deals.
