Harry Potter Magic Awakened: Best house, explained

As is the case in all Harry Potter games, books, movies, and real-life reenactments, there is no “best house” in Harry Potter Magic Awakened. You should simply choose the house that best represents your character — whether you are roleplaying yourself or a made-up witch or wizard.

As with all the houses in Harry Potter Magic Awakening, you can learn more about them by pressing the little information button next to each house name. The Sorting Hat will get you a brief description of each house also. When you are ready, click confirm — but be warned, you can’t change your house after you’ve chosen it.

Gryffindor is a house with red and gold and a griffin as its mascot.

Slytherin is a house that features green and silver and has a snake as its mascot.

Only the witches and wizards that are ambitious and powerful go to Slytherin. And while it is common for dark witches and wizards to come from Slytherin, you can still be good and be in Slytherin. Some of the most famous Slytherin are Voldemort and Draco Malfoy.

Harry Potter Magic Awakened: Why choose Ravenclaw?

Ravenclaw are generally wise, kind, and unique. Some famous Ravenclaw are Luna Lovegood and Garrick Ollivander.

Last (as always), but not least is Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff colors are yellow and black and they have a badger as their mascot.

Hufflepuff are loyal, diligent, and have integrity. Some famous Hufflepuff are Cedric Diggory and Newt Scamander.
