Where to open presents in Fortnite Winterfest 2023

It's like Christmas morning.

Winterfest has come back to Fortnite, and the annual holiday event has taken over the island with some twists this year. Gone is Crackshot’s Cabin, as it’s now going to be a visitable location on the island, and instead, we’re heading to a brand new location to open presents.

Fortnite Winterfest 2023: Where to open presents

Players have grown to love opening presents in Fortnite’s Winterfest, since there are usually some incredible cosmetics to unwrap. Whether this comes in the form of weapon skins, back bling, or even the one or two skins we get from Epic, you’re going to want to know where you open presents.

Fortnite will now decide which presents we get to unwrap each day, which is a rather odd change. Regardless, you’ll want to head over to your Quests tab on the top of your screen when loading into Fortnite, and at the top of this section should be a category titled Daily Gifts.

Once every day around 9 am EST, players will be able to unlock the gift of the day, and it’ll show a nice animation along with it.

You don’t have to complete any quests before unwrapping, but you should check daily, as the last thing you want to happen is to miss out on one of the free skins!

If you’re looking to get a full snapshot of all the Winterfest 2023 rewards, we’ve got you covered here, as there are some incredible ones this year.
