Starfield has a host of planets spread across multiple systems, but most of them play host to materials very like the ones we find here on Earth. Those materials function as precious resources you can use to craft equipment that will make your journey through the stars more enjoyable. One of the more useful resources is Titanium. With that in mind, here is our guide telling you where to get Titanium in Starfield.
Starfield – where to get Titanium
Titanium is a precious resource you will find in the wild only rarely. To get Titanium, look for vendors who offer it, or check planets such as Pluto. However, you also need to have a way to extract it. Just the regular Cutter doesn’t do the job.
You will find Titanium offered for sale at UC Distribution in New Atlantis. Some other vendors may occasionally provide it, so make sure to check with any vendors you meet in outposts or other cities. However, my first stop when I want anything precious is always UC Distribution. Its location is super convenient, near the edge of the Commercial District.
Titanium is also available in rocks on planets such as Pluto or on Saturn’s moon, Titan. I landed in the Frozen Mountains biome on Pluto and almost immediately found several places to acquire Titanium, mere steps away from my ship. It was a truly welcome sight. If you’re having trouble finding Pluto, look in the Sol system. It’s a short distance to the upper left from the Alpha Centauri system on your Starmap. See the above screenshot.

Unfortunately, you can’t use the Cutter to get Titanium. Even if you overcharge your Cutter, it won’t cut through the rock. The only way to get Titanium from a planet is to build an outpost and extract the resource. You need to unlock the Planetary Habitation skill to be able to mine Titanium, since it seems to exist only on planets with extreme conditions.
