Where to get the Potent Robe in Baldur’s Gate 3

One of the many appeals of Baldur’s Gate 3 is the amount of customization that you have with your character, from when they’re created, all the way through the game. This goes from the stats that you can influence potential ability checks with, to even just what cape they want to wear that makes your character look the coolest of all the characters in this world. Very clearly costumes and appearance are a big part of Baldur’s Gate 3, and you can get your clothes from many different places, such as from vendors or even as quest rewards. One of the items of clothing or armor you can get as a quest reward is the Potent Robe, which you can grab in Act 2. Here’s our guide on where to get the Potent Robe in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Where to get the Potent Robe in Baldur’s Gate 3

The Potent Robe is an item you get during the second act of Baldur’s Gate 3. You can receive this item whenever you want during the act as long as you have been to Moonrise Towers and have made sure the Tieflings were allowed to leave the Emerald Grove in the first act of the game, as it is a quest rewards given to you for saving some Tieflings during the second act.

To get the Potent Robe during the second act of Baldur’s Gate 3, you’re going to need to save the Tieflings from the prison in Moonrise Towers by breaking them out. You can do this with or without initiating combat, and you can see our guide on this very subject here. Once you complete this section of the quest, head back to the Last Light Inn where you can speak to the Tieflings who have been rescued from the prison and some of them will thank you. One of these Tieflings is Alfira, who sits at the center of the Last Light Inn and when you speak to her she will thank you for saving Lakrissa and the other Tieflings by giving you the Potent Robe for you to use in your adventures.
