Sulfur is an important crafting ingredient for many recipes such as Gunpowder. So, where can you get your hands on Sulfur in Palworld?
Most things you must find on your own in the open world, but we can guide you in the right direction. Here’s how to get some Sulfur.
Palworld: How to find Sulfur
This yellow ore is required later in the game once you start needing guns and ammo. Where you can get Sulfur in Palworld is in Dungeons, or in desert regions. The first place you’ll probably stumble upon Sulfur is inside Dungeons, which you can enter through open cave mouths.
If you ever see a cave entrance, that’s a Dungeon. Head inside, and you can find a myriad of things, such as new Pals, Coal, and even Sulfur. Sulfur ore looks like a yellow rock, you can’t miss it. Once you find a Sulfur deposit, start mining it to gain some. I recommend you take along a Pal that can help you mine ore, such as Digtoise or Astegon.

Dungeons aren’t the only area you can find Sulfur. In fact, if you visit a desert region like the one in the northern part of the map, Sulfur can spawn there. Look for that same yellow-colored ore, and you’ll get yourself some Sulfur.
They’re much more common in this area than in Dungeons, so once you unlock this area, it’ll be the better place to farm Sulfur. Just make sure to wear some heat-protective gear before heading to the blistering heat of the desert.
As another recommendation, make sure you’re using a Metal Pickaxe, as it’ll take you a lot less time to mine this Sulfur. Anything better than a Metal Pickaxe is great as well. Now you can go ahead and make more guns and ammo!
