Elizabeth will give you various requests that you can complete while exploring Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload, and one of the earliest items she asks you to find is a weapon called Juzumaru. This is a returning request from the original game, but the location has been shifted around.
That applies to most of Persona 3 Reload’s requests, so even veteran players won’t be able to rely entirely on memory if they want to complete Elizabeth’s list of requests. Thankfully, things are much easier this time around and some of the game’s harshest time constraints have been removed in the remake. If you’re trying to find Juzumaru in Persona 3 Reload, this guide will help you cross this request off your list.
Persona 3 Reload Juzumaru Location
Unlike previous versions of Persona 3, Juzumaru is located in a specific location within Tartarus. While the weapon was a random drop in rare chests in Persona 3 Portable, it’s located specifically on 36F within the Arqa block of Tartarus in Reload. You can find Juzumaru in a locked chest that requires three Twilight Fragments to open. You have to beat the Disturbing Dice boss on this floor before reaching the chest, though.
Defeating the Disturbing Dice on 36F can be quite challenging for some players since the boss doesn’t have any weaknesses at all. That means you won’t be able to knock it down or perform All Out Attacks, so you’ll need to change up your battle strategy to slay it. The best course of action is to buff your allies and spam normal attacks while hoping for critical hits. Make sure to have plenty of healing items on hand, too.
Once you’ve obtained the Juzumaru from the Twilight Fragment chest, just return to Elizabeth to complete the request. The reward is a Skill Card for Makouha, an attack that deals Light damage to all foes. Light skills are rare this early in Persona 3 Reload, so being able to apply Makouha to a Persona with a Skill Card will give you a huge advantage when exploring Tartarus. Of course, the Juzumaru itself is also a reward since it’s one of the best weapons for Junpei at this point in the game.
Most of Elizabeth’s requests are much more straightforward in Persona 3 Reload, and her request descriptions do a much better job of directing you toward the correct locations this time around. Still, finding some items like Pine Resin can be difficult since she’s frustratingly vague with her hints.
