Like a Dragon Gaiden – where to find the woman’s missing son

The streets of Sotenbori are extremely crowded and, as you’ll discover, filled with thugs. A woman you find near its far northeast corner presents the Where is My Son? mission when she discovers she has become separated from her child. To find the woman’s missing son, you need to search to the west of Ashitaba Park.

The search for the woman’s missing son doesn’t have to take a long time, if you’re paying attention to on-screen cues. From the hideout you share with Akame, you simply head to the main street and then venture north. You’ll find the boy on the right side, near a garage, not far south from the Shofukucho area. See the above map screenshot for his precise location.

When you approach, the woman’s son has an icon shaped like an eye hovering over his head, which makes him easier to spot. He also is wearing a green jacket. Even with that being the case, I must have run past him a dozen times before I noticed him. The street is usually pretty crowded, and I’m typically fighting local nefarious types.

Once you find the boy, you’ll automatically let him know where his mother is waiting. He disappears to go find her. Then you can head back to the street to the north (just check your Support Map if you’ve forgotten where the mother was waiting) and meet them for a happy reunion with a surprise twist. As a reward for your assistance, you’ll receive 25,000 yen and 700 Akame Points.
