Season 02 introduced several more missions to Warzone DMZ. Among these includes a new White Lotus mission called ‘Break Check.’ This mission involves locating a mysterious crash site, looting a hard drive at this crash site, and delivering it where instructed. This is a follow-up guide to ‘Where to locate the crash site near the Observatory‘ which focuses on where to find the Waterways dead drop on Ashika Island in Warzone 2 DMZ.

Where to find the Waterways dead drop on Ashika Island in Warzone 2 DMZ
Dead drops have actually been a feature of Warzone 2 DMZ for some time. They are repurposed bins that can be used to deposit items and cash to speed up the cooldown for using insured weapons. However, that isn’t their only purpose. Some missions like Break Check require you to store items in dead drops as one of the objectives.
“The waterways” refers to the underground section of Ashika Island. To enter the waterways, you’ll want to head to a small building to the southwest of Tsuki Castle and northwest of Port Ashika. Just east of this building, there will be a tunnel entrance that leads to the waterways dead drop on Ashika Island.
Enter the tunnel entrance and follow it until you find a fork in the road. Take the first right and then drop down the zipline that will follow soon after. This will lead to an underground opening with a large submarine; this is the waterways.
Upon entering the waterways, the dead drop will be on your immediate right. Simply walk up to the dead drop, interact with it, and deposit the Ashika Security hard drive that you found in the first half of the mission. Once you have dropped off the hard drive at the waterways dead drop on Ashika Island, you will have completed Break Check in Warzone 2 DMZ.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is free to play on both Battle.net and on Steam.
