Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth – where to find the Squid Tentacles

When you invest enough in Julie’s Gearworks that the establishment levels up a bit, she can start crafting amazing weapons for you. Some of the absolute finest equipment available requires the Squid Tentacles. Those listings are basically just there to taunt you, as I see it. You can’t find the Squid Tentacles until Chapter 10 of the campaign.

As you play through Chapter 10, you will eventually visit a training area. It’s like the Hawaii Haunt you will have explored earlier. The Yokohama Underground has a host who will trade Geomijul Survey Data for special rewards. The Squid Tentacles are available in exchange for 18,000 Geomijul Survey Data.

18,000 Geomijul Survey Data sounds like a lot. There’s a reason for that: it is a lot. Typically, you might receive somewhere around 400 when you clear a floor, or around 3,000 to 4,000 data on a 10-floor run. To get a lot of survey data, you’ll need to attempt a lot of runs at the earlier floors, or fewer runs at the more dangerous deeper levels of the labyrinth.

To survive the most rewarding of the initial floors, you should have your characters at level 40 and higher. Also, make sure you have the best armor currently available. I like to bring lots of items that restore MP so that I can have my party members use their most lethal offensive skills in every battle. Otherwise, the process can prove quite grueling. You can pause after every fifth floor to go back and get more goodies, which I suggest doing. This is probably the best single way to improve the relevant characters ahead of the game’s end-game content. Do it for the experience. And do it for the Squid Tentacles!

Note that later in the game, you can conveniently acquire the Squid Tentacles at The Recycling Center on Aloha Beach. They cost 1,000 points. It’s not terribly difficult to run up and down the beach gathering enough resources to earn points for some tentacles, once you can survive the local mobs.
