Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth – where to find the Shark Fin

Some of the best weapons in the game are technically available starting early in the campaign. However, that doesn’t mean you can get them right away. The Shark Fin is useful when you craft a variety of gear with star ratings of six and seven, but it’s an exceptionally rare item you can’t conveniently obtain for a long while. You can acquire the Shark Fin near the Hawaiian Haunt labyrinth entrance.

Fighting your way through the Hawaiian Haunt labyrinth

The Hawaiian Haunt labyrinth opens as you progress through Chapter 5 of the campaign. It’s a dungeon with 30 floors initially available, in groups of 10 at a time. To get through the later floors without it being a massive ordeal, your characters will need to be leveled up to 40 or higher. They should also have solid gear equipped. I like to equip 4-Star armor or better since some of the enemies hit pretty hard.

As you roam the dungeon, you find sparkling points of interest that often provide you with Robo Disks. You also receive them when clearing various floors and encounters. At the entrance to the dungeon, you meet a friendly mascot who exchanges the Robo Disks for various loot. The Shark Fin is available for 15,000 Robo Disks.

If you play around on only the first 10 floors, it takes a long while to acquire that many Robo Disks. They drop more generously as you delve deeper, but you’ll probably need to make a few runs through floors 20-30 to acquire the 15,000 Robo Disks required for even one Shark Fin. Thankfully, the dungeon is a great place to grind so you can be ready for the tougher later chapters of Infinite Wealth. If you bring enough items to restore MP, you can level up frequently in a short time. And you can find valuable crafting materials while doing so. It’s win-win!

Note that later in the game, you can conveniently acquire the Shark Fin at The Recycling Center on Aloha Beach. It costs 1,000 points. It’s not terribly difficult to run up and down the beach gathering enough resources to earn points for a fin, once you can survive the local mobs.
