Tides of the Foscari is a bold new chapter in the ongoing saga of Vampire Survivors, bringing with it new characters, weapons, items, and maps. With the new Stages essentially serving as an updated endgame for experienced players, poncle throws the veteran crowd their biggest bone yet with the addition of a dedicated Golden Egg farming spot, one that can get any character into a position to take on everything the game has to offer. Read on to learn where to find the secret Golden Egg farming spot in Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari DLC.
Where to stock up on free-range Golden Eggs in Vampire Survivors
Step 1: Head to Abyss Foscari
The secret Golden Egg farming spot is located in Abyss Foscari, the second new Stage introduced in Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari DLC. In order to unlock this Stage, you’ll need to break the Seal of the Lake in the Lake Foscari Stage. Upon arriving in Abyss Foscari, you’ll soon learn that the Stage is divided in two by an impenetrable barrier of darkness, which can only be cleared by breaking the Seal of the Abyss in the lower section of the Stage. The Golden Egg farming spot is in the second half of the Abyss, so you’ll need to break this Seal before you can take advantage of it.
Step 2: Head for Torrona’s Box
Once you’ve satisfied the above conditions, you’re ready to head to the Golden Egg farming spot. It’s worth noting that, in order to make best use of it, you’ll need a build with a lot of survivability that can deal out big damage as well. For this reason, it’s best to spend a few minutes leveling up and developing your build before you head to the farming spot. Get your key weapons evolved, and fill up on useful passive items. Don’t forget to pick up the Armor and Crown that appear on the right-hand side of the Stage, too.
Once you feel ready, make your way over to the left side of the Stage, the one that was previously shrouded in darkness. Look for the Empty Tome and Torrona’s Box items on the map, and head in that direction. While it may initially seem like you can’t reach these two, hug the wall directly right of the Tome and you’ll soon discover a secret gap in the wall, identifiable by its slightly lighter gray tone. Proceed through the corridor beyond to the Tome, then head south from here until you reach Torrona’s Box. It’s here that you’ll find the secret Golden Egg farming spot.
Step 3: Gather Golden Eggs to your heart’s content!
Not long after picking up the Box, Atlantean enemies will start to swarm into the room in huge numbers. You’ll recognize these as the powerful guardians who come after you when you take the Gold Ring, Silver Ring, Metaglio Left, or Metaglio Right items in a run, albeit smaller in size. Just like their larger counterparts, these Atlanteans drop a Golden Egg each when defeated, but unlike them they spawn here infinitely rather than just four per Stage.
This means that, if you’ve got the stats and weapons to survive their onslaught, you can stay in this area and collect as many Golden Eggs as the Stage’s 30-minute limit allows. This will be easier for some characters than for others, but most can handle it if properly equipped. We’d recommend the Crimson Shroud/Infinite Corridor combo normally used to defeat Red Death, as well as the Armor item and health boosters like the Hollow Heart. Once you’re in a good position, you can just sit back and watch the Golden Eggs flow in, at a much faster rate than they would via traditional methods such as Gold farming.
At the end of your run, you’ll see the results. In our first encounter with this spot, we managed to acquire 1350 Golden Eggs for newcomer Maruto Cuts, and from there we were able to leverage the huge stat gains he received to make use of the spot again for exponential growth.
Now that you know where to find the Secret Golden Egg farming spot in Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari DLC, you have access to a fantastic way to power up your favorite Survivors. Though be warned: it can trivialize the game’s difficulty, and even cause it to crash completely, if you push it too far and stockpile too many Eggs on one character.
