Where to find the red mushroom in Diablo 4 Brought to Heel

Not so magic mushrooms.

Diablo 4 has an enormous amount of sidequests ranging from benign to essential. You would be forgiven for needing a little help with at least one or two of the countless missions. As you make your way through, you may find one or two of these tasks actually don’t work as well as they should. Brought to Heel seems to be giving a few players an issue or two due to the red mushroom that needs to be recovered being hard to see and impossible to view on horseback, but here’s how to grab it in Diablo 4.

Once you have grabbed the Brought to Heel mission from Backwater, it’s time to head into the murky swamps of Hawezar. The area is damp, stinky, and full of beasties that are just doing their best to ruin your day.

The Red Mushroom is tricky to find due to its tiny size and the huge blue circle you are given to search. If you are on horseback, you will not be able to see the Red Mushroom or pick it up to complete the Brought to Heel quest in Diablo 4. You will have to search on foot.

You will find the Red Mushroom in the north of Hawezar. It is to the right of a puddle in the area called Exile’s Heap. Simply head up to this area, and look for a puddle between the two bridges between the regions. It is marked with a yellow circle on the Diablo 4 map. Be careful of the monsters that lurk in the area; they also want the Red Mushroom.

Once you have collected the Red Mushroom for the Diablo 4 Brought to Heel quest, return to Lucir. They are in Backwater waiting for you to complete the mission. Remember that being on horseback will not allow you to see the Red Mushroom. So, get on your feet to complete the mission.
