Tears Of The Kingdom Glide Mask

Where to find the Glide Mask in Tears of the Kingdom

Completing the set.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a massive amount of things for you to collect. You can get yourself a bunch of different types of items, armor, and weapons just to name a few. One of the new armor sets in Tears of the Kingdom is the Glide Set, which enhances your mobility while skydiving. There are three parts to this armor set, and they’re pretty tricky to find. Here’s our guide on where to find the Glide Mask in Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to find the Glide Mask in Tears of the Kingdom

The Glide Mask in Tears of the Kingdom is a pretty easy find. All you need to do is head to a certain location, and then complete a skydiving challenge. The first step is getting to the location of the challenge, which is located in the South Lanayru Sky Archipelago, on the east side of the map. You will need to head for a location by the name of Valor Island. You can see the location on the map below.

Getting to the island where you find the Glide Mask is located is the tricky part. My advice would be to head for the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower, which is right next to it. If you have the Glide Tights or Shirt you’ll be able to get there with relative ease and good management of your stamina and height. If you don’t have one or both of those, you might need to take a stop on a nearby island before getting there. There is a prebuilt flying device on a nearby island which you can use to get to the island if you’re struggling to get there.

Getting the mask

Once you’re confident of getting to the island, you have two choices for getting the Glide Mask in Tears of the Kingdom. You can either climb or fly to the top island and immediately begin the skydive challenge, or you can talk to the Construct below to begin with the challenge. I recommend going to the bottom, as it saves precious time. As someone who spent 30 minutes climbing the islands for each of the Glide armor pieces because I didn’t know I could just talk to the Steward at the bottom, I can tell you it’s a very time consuming endeavor.

You get the first run through of the course for free, and it’s a good way to get to grips with it. After you do it once, you need to pay a Zonai Charge to try it again. This time it’s timed, and completing it within 35 seconds will get you the Glide Mask in Tears of the Kingdom. You can also then complete it in under 25 seconds for a Large Zonai Charge.
