Where to find the Dog Collar in Baldur’s Gate 3

A dirt nap.

The treasure you can find in Baldur’s Gate 3 varies widely. A lot of it waits in treasure chests, or you discover it on corpses. However, you need to search harder to find some of the odder loot, such as the easily overlooked Dog Collar. Here is our guide explaining where to find the Dog Collar in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Baldur’s Gate 3 – where to find the Dog Collar

The Dog Collar might not feel like a super vital item, but it serves a purpose as you scale the Arcane Tower and find a bowl that might hold energy-restoring kibble. To get the most out of that possible resource, you need the collar. To find the Dog Collar, dig up a grave in Dread Hollow, not far south from the Susser Tree waypoint in the Underdark.

You’ll find the Susser Tree waypoint west and slightly south of the Myconid Colony. Then you can travel south to reach Dread Hollow. In my case, I came from a different direction. I climbed the scaffolding north of the Beach waypoint. Then I worked my way west from there along a trail leading southwest. The map screenshot shows where I wound up after that journey.

In the Dark Hollow area, defeat the Bulette that attacks. Once that creature is out of the picture, check the immediate vicinity. You should find a Tombstone referencing Myrna and the nearby lake. Choose the ‘Dig up the grave‘ prompt to reveal the Dog Collar.

Once you acquire the Dog Collar, take it with you on your visit to the Arcane Tower. If you equip the collar as an amulet, you can push a button and produce food, which may give you resources for a helpful Long Rest. See our walkthrough of the Arcane Tower to learn more about the button and its location.
