Where to find Selgio in Dave the Diver

There are a ton of side quests to embark on during Dave the Diver’s multiple chapters. Once you unlock the Sea People Village, there are even more missions to take on. One of these quests is ‘Pet Squid Selgio’, where Linchen asks Dave to find her pet squid. You only get one clue as to where you can find Selgio, so keep reading this Dave the Diver guide to find out where he is.

Where is the shining jellyfish: Dave the Diver ‘Pet Squid Selgio’ quest

The only thing that Linchen says about her jellyfish’s whereabouts is that he followed a Shining Jellyfish before he disappeared. Where you can find Selgio in Dave the Diver is right outside the gates to the Sea People Village. If you leave the village and keep swimming west in The Depths, you’ll quickly come across a glowing jellyfish.

Dave will notice that its probably the jellyfish he’s looking for, and it’ll begin to lead you to Selgio. Swim after it, and you’ll keep heading north towards the missing squid. Eventually, the jellyfish stops, and you’ll find a small hole.

A very simple minigame starts, where you use the ‘WASD’ keys to move your flashlight around the hole. As soon as you see Selgio, he’ll swim out of the light. You’ll have to chase Selgio with the flashlight a few times before he finally calms down.

Now, you can finally place the High-Quality Food down that Linchen gave you. This will lure him out, and you can finally grab him with your Bug Net. That’s all it takes to find Selgio, and now you can bring him back to his owner. As a reward, you’ll receive a portrait of Selgio to display in your sushi bar! I definitely prefer an adorable squid portrait over some Bei.
