Dave the Diver offers hours of tranquil, deep-sea fishing joy in the form of an 8-Bit indie masterpiece. The sushi-cooking, harpooning game has taken Steam by storm with overwhelming reviews and will soon debut on Switch. MINTROCKET has blown it out of the water *Ahem* with this one and created a world that keeps me coming back. One of the little challenges I struggled to complete was part of a cooking challenge. Finding Salt in Dave the Diver took me a little while, but here’s where it’s located.
Where to find white salt in Dave the Diver
As you play through Dave the Diver, various food critics will show up to throw their weight around. The second critic, Vincent, will claim that only the classic recipes should ever be used in authentic gourmet Sushi. However, Bancho decides to use Jellyfish, a rarely used ingredient.
To acquire the necessary ingredients for the outlandish dish, you will need to collect Sea Grapes, White Spotted Jellyfish, and Salt. You will be told to look for the Jellyfish near water flows, which is a good indicator of where to find your Salt in Dave the Diver too.
Listen out for the fast drafts of water while diving. They sound like rushing water and are a signifier of where you will find the Jellyfish. They can be found in the Limestone Caves, which sit about 45 meters below the sea. Once you make your way into the caves, navigate the water flows until you find the Jellyfish. I found that Salt was usually relatively close to the Jellyfish in Dave the Diver.
So, look for the red crock pots under the water for ingredients to use in the Kitchen. You will find Salt in one of these in Dave the Diver. You shouldn’t struggle to find it not too far from the Limestone Caves.
