You can mine all kinds of collectibles on Dondoki Island, like the Pearl. But here for Ore, of which there are a few types on Dondoko, all appearing in the Dokopedia as Collectables. Those types are the Gold Ore, Raw Ruby Ore, Raw Platinum Ore, Raw Sapphire Ore, and Raw Diamond Ore. When you mine ore, you might get any of several results. You can find each type of ore at the Cave, Lake, or Lighthouse areas on the island.

When you first arrive on Dondoko Island, you don’t have proper access to any areas that are rich in Ore. However, you’ll eventually expand the areas you can explore to include the Cave, Lake, and Lighthouse areas. Once you do, you should try to visit each of those destinations once per day on the island. They’re all quite small. Ore usually is just lying on the ground in plain sight. It doesn’t take long to grab what’s available and then keep moving.

I found more Ore as the game progressed. However, you should be able to find some Ore as soon as you access each new area where it appears. Later in the game, you also access Dondoko Farm. There, you can find a lot of the various Ore types in the Plaza area. It waits atop the hill overlooking the farm, where animals sometimes raid.
