Where to Find Falco in Cyberpunk 2077

This fan favorite makes a small cameo!

Fans of Cyberpunk 2077 have plenty of compliments for the game, ranging from its immersive, in-depth graphics to the many different side quests and missions your character can partake in. No playthrough is the same because even small choices can affect how V, your playable character, is treated by the rest of the Cyberpunk cast. If you support and befriend certain people, they may offer you favors or give you items for free.

However, choose to slight them and some will try to make you not live to regret it! Plenty of cameos also abound in the game, from fan favorites of other material to characters from the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime. One of these characters, Falco, makes an appearance during one of the side jobs that you will have the chance to take on during the game. Here is how you can interact with him in Cyberpunk 2077.

How Do You Encounter Falco in Cyberpunk 2077?

Falco is one of the crewmembers of David Martinez’s team in the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime, and his usual role is to be the wheelman for the team. In Cyberpunk 2077, his cameo takes place during the side job called ‘Over the Edge’. In order to experience this cameo, you will need to begin completing the side job and progress through a large chunk of the mission. Eventually, you’ll come across an alleyway while you’re working on the job. Use the braindance you’ve acquired (the game calls this the BD) and message El Capitan, asking about the name that you’ve found inside of the BD (David Martinez).

If you wait one day in the game, Falco will text you and exchange a couple of texts with the player about David’s crew. Though he doesn’t physically appear, Falco is still alive in the world of Cyberpunk. However, fans of the anime will know that Martinez died during the anime, and after his death, Falco cut himself off from the rest of the team and began living his life outside of society. Therefore, we can reasonably assume that El Capitan messaged Falco once V (your character) began asking about David Martinez, likely wanting to connect the dots for you.

On the map displayed above, you will be able to find David’s jacket after you have finished talking with Falco. The grieving man recognizes parts of his late friend David in your character, as well as the way you combat the Arasaka Corporation just like them. Because of these similarities, he thanks you with the present – never actually appearing in the game physically, of course. Instead, you must find the jacket’s location, which we have shown above. Enjoy owning a piece of the anime’s history!

Are There Other Notable Cameos in Cyberpunk 2077?

Luckily for fans of the gaming community, there are numerous other prolific cameos who make appearances in Cyberpunk 2077. Several YouTubers and other content creators had their own appearances in the form of a name mention or NPCs with small roles. There were also some larger cameos that were given to higher-profile celebrities, and many involved side jobs your character can try to complete.

The likes of these cameos include Ellen McLain, who voices GLaDOS in all of the Portal franchise’s installations, as well as the Administrator in Team Fortress 2. The comedian Jesse Cox also has his own side job cameo, where you need to help the man find a ripperdoc because he attempted a cybernetic enhancement that went south. Lastly, Grimes makes her own appearance as Lizzy Wizzy, a popular now-deceased singer who has been replaced by cyberware and electronic programs that replicate her performances for throngs of fans.
