Where To Find Cyclops Parts Blueprints In Subnautica

Where to find Cyclops Parts Blueprints in Subnautica

Oh, to build a submarine.

The Cyclops is perhaps the second most important upgrade in the game after the Seamoth. The Cyclops is a full on submarine, allowing you to venture into the deepest areas of the game unfit for the Seamoth alone, or go on longer voyages. However, getting to the point of making one is a very involved process, in part because you have to scan separate blueprint parts to even begin crafting it. Here’s where to find Cyclops Parts Blueprints in Subnautica.

Cyclops Parts Blueprints Locations in Subnautica

You need to scan the fragments for three different pieces of the Cyclops: Hull, Engine, and Bridge. They’re found in Aurora debris wrecks. The locations for each is as follows:

  • Hull: Mushroom Forest, Sea Treader’s Path, or the eastern side of Mountain Island
  • Engine: The Aurora, Crag Field, Crash Zone, Mountains, Underwater Islands Wreck, or the eastern side of Mountain Island.
  • Bridge: Crash Zone, Mushroom Forest, Sea Treader’s Path, or the eastern side of Mountain Island.

If you want to optimize this to the easiest areas, that’s Mushroom Forest for Hull and Bridge, and Crash Zone/The Aurora for the Engine. However, I’m sure you’re also noticing a pattern here. Each part can be found in the eastern side of Mountain Island.

The Mountain Island is north of Lifepod Five and next to the Bulb Zone, Kelp Forest, and Mushroom Forest. More specifically, it’s at the crosshairs between the eastern Mushroom Forest and Kelp Forest at its northeasternmost point. You can’t see it until you’re close to it, as it’s shrouded by a fog. You can however, easily make out the fog if you look above water, making its location easy to pinpoint.

There is a large problem with searching in the water around the Mountain Island, however. There’s a Reaper Leviathan nearby, as well as Warpers. I didn’t say it was the safest option for a reason, so if you do try for there, make sure you saved.

Note that while this underlies where to find each of the Cyclops Parts Blueprints in Subnautica, there’s no guarantee of finding each in a given zone. For that you really just have to keep searching.
