Final Fantasy 16 Belphegor

Where to find Belphegor in Final Fantasy 16

On the hunt.

Final Fantasy 16 gives you a lot to do on the side when the game opens up in the second act. One of the things they give you access to is hunts. These are different beasts that you can hunt down and the game asks you to find them only giving you a general location in the menu, and there’s nothing marked on your map. This means these can be a bit tricky to complete if you don’t know where to find these monsters. Here’s our guide on where to find Belphegor in Final Fantasy 16, one of the aforementioned hunts.

The first step to finding Belphegor in Final Fantasy 16 is to head over to Eastpool, which is a location in the Rosaria area. Once you’re here, you’re going to want to make your way over to the location in the map below. This area is just outside of Eastpool, and you actually go there in the main story itself to talk to an old man. Once you get here, Belphegor should appear, and the fight will be able to begin.

Beating Belphegor in Final Fantasy 16 is a pretty tricky feat if you don’t avoid some of its attacks. Most notably, Belphegor’s fire breath attack can be a massive pain to dodge and it does massive damage. After taking major damage from a few of its fire breaths, I found that it has a specific wind up to this attack, so keep an eye out for that and get out of the way. This attack is also mostly triggered by being close to Belphegor from my experience, so you can either trigger it if you know how to avoid it, or at least know how to trigger it so you can avoid it as much as possible.

Aside from that attack, Belphegor is pretty easy to take down, but that attack did nearly wipe me out on my attempt at this boss in Final Fantasy 16. So hopefully you have an easier time now you’re aware of that attack, and are able to take Belphegor out now you know where to find it.
