Where to find Ashura in Palia

Welcome to the world of Palia! Now that you’ve got your character just how you want them, and been immediately thrown into the world by literally materializing into it, it’s time to head into the map’s local town and speak to your first NPC besides Jina and her companion. Jina tells you to get started by finding Ashura. However, the map is big and overwhelming at first, so this simple task may not be so simple after all. Here’s where to find Ashura in Palia.

Where to find Ashura’s location in Palia

Ashura should be in the middle of the map. Like you will come to discover about many of the NPCs, Ashura will wander around the map or even be asleep sometimes. However, for purposes of the first quest, you should find him at the tavern. To find the tavern, travel towards the town you can see in the distance from where you emerge at Phoenix Falls.

Once you reach the town, the tavern is the large, southwest building with the big barrel outside.

Go inside and you will find Ashura at the counter with the register. Ashura will help you get started becoming a member of the town community.

If, for some reason, he isn’t there, don’t fret too much- you can find him by other methods as well. You’ll notice there’s a navigational overlay above on the game hud with the cardinal directions. It should have a grey bubble with a yellow outline letting you know where to go to. Following that should also bring you to Ashura. From then on, he’ll be a discovered NPC and appear on both the map and navigation with a personalized icon. Now that you know where to find Ashura in Palia, keep this in mind, as you will need to come back to him in the not so distant future.
