Tears Of The Kingdom Shock Like Stones Guide

Where to find and farm Shock Like Stones in Tears of the Kingdom

Score some shocking materials.

Shock Like Stones are another variety of materials dropped by Like Likes. These particular stones are carried by Shock Likes which only appear in certain parts of Hyrule. Unlike the flaming Fire Likes and freezing Ice Likes, their locations are a little less obvious. So, let’s break down where you can get some Shock Like Stones in Tears of the Kingdom.

Whistling Hill Cave

The first place to easily find a Shock Like Stone is just down the road from Lookout Landing. Head south towards the Whistling Hill and look for Teniten Shrine. It’s right on the junction that leads down to the Forest of Time. Then, you’ll want to look north of the Shrine where you’ll see a small cliff. Look for some breakable rocks to find the entrance to Whistling Hill Cave. Inside is where our first Shock Like is lurking. Just proceed through the cave and you’ll eventually encounter a Rock Like. The Shock Like holding our stone is located just past this enemy. Be sure to explore the back of this cave too since you can get a piece of the Rubber armor set here.

Lanayru Road South Cave

The second place to find a Shock Like Stone is in the Lanayru region of Hyrule. We’re specifically heading to Lanayru Road South Cave which is found just behind a big waterfall. Check the map above for the exact location. Once you’re here, break the rock concealing the rest of the cave at the back. And here you’ll find a stone needed to unlock a Shrine. The Shock Like is located behind the small waterfall to the left of this stone. You should be able to pick it out easily since it’ll be alerted to Link’s presence once you destroy the rock wall.

Gerudo Desert

The last Shock Like we’ll cover is arguably the easiest to get. Just head over to the Gerudo Desert and go to my location on the map above. There you’ll find massive skeletal remains, with a Shock Like creepily positioned on the bones. This is a very easy spot to come back to after a Blood Moon if you’re in need of a quick Shock Like Stone to grab.

These locations aren’t the only places where you can find Shock Likes by any means. You’ll likely bump into a few as you play through the game normally. And some you’ll even come across some in side adventures like the one that gets you the Scimitar of the Seven. Shock Like Stones are hard to find though, so make sure you use them sparingly.
