Sons Of The Forest Aloe Vera

Where to find Aloe Vera in Sons of the Forest

Medic!

Collecting materials is one of the main activities of your adventure in Sons of the Forest. You need a lot of items to get through the hardships that will face you on the island while searching for the missing billionaire, Edward Puffton, and his family. One of the more in-demand materials people will be looking for are ones surrounding healing. Aloe Vera is an ingredient in Sons of the Forest for healing items, such as the Health Mix. This medicinal plant is quite hard to find in the game, however. Therefore, here’s our guide on where to find Aloe Vera in Sons of the Forest.

Where to find Aloe Vera

As mentioned, Aloe Vera is incredibly scarce in Sons of the Forest, but there are some tips to help you find it. Firstly, Aloe Vera seems to be most common on the west side of the island, meaning you should probably start looking there for it. Secondly, it is a recurring spawn in multiple places, which means you’re going to need to hunt down a location for it. But the real tip is, as soon as you’ve hunted down a location for the Aloe Vera, you can seemingly get as much as you want.

Save, reload, method for Aloe Vera in Sons of the Forest

If you don’t want to spend hours hunting for Aloe Vera, all you need to do is find a single location where it spawns and then lay camp there, save, quit, and reload. This will respawn every item in the game. So if you’re looking for plenty of Aloe Vera, you can do this method, even if it is a bit of a pain.

One such location for Aloe Vera in Sons of the Forest lies in the northwest on the map near an enemy camp, as spotted in this video by WoW Quests. All you want to do is head to the location in the image below, then harvest the Aloe Vera, then set down a tent, save, and reload. We verified this method ourselves, and the Aloe Vera does in fact seem to be a static spawn at this location, meaning this works for the reloading method.

Aloe Vera seeds

When you’re obtaining Aloe Vera in Sons of the Forest, you can also get seeds by chance. You can then take these seeds and plant them at your home base to grow Aloe Vera there. This method is relatively efficient, and probably easier to do than reloading your game a few times every time you need the material.

Virginia

Another way of obtaining Aloe Vera is that Virginia has a small chance of approaching you and gifting it to you. This method is random however, so it’s probably best to place your bets on the other methods before this one.
