WoW Classic is full of nuance items that players will need to collect in order to complete certain quests and are used to craft certain gear. One of these items is the Iridescent Pearls, and within Classic WoW, we’re going to break down where to farm them so you can make some extra money!
WoW Classic: Where to Farm Iridescent Pearls
In Classic WoW, one of the best materials to farm early on within the game are Iridescent Pearls, and these are also used for crafting Spidersilk Boots and Shining Silver Breastplate.
Naturally, some of you are going to want to go out of your way to obtain this material, and thankfully, for you, we’ve got some nice locations to farm them below. However, keep in mind that these locations are more than likely going to drop the Thick-shelled Clams item, which players will then need to right-click to open them to have a chance at the Iridescent Pearls.
- Hillsbrad Foothills, towards the coastal region where there are a ton of Murlocs and other mobs for players to hunt down.
- Towards the Azurelode Mine and Ruins of Southshore
- Wetlands, towards the upper left side of this area, is a swamp portion where players will be able to hunt enemies down.

Once at these two locations, whether you’re Horde or Alliance, you’re bound to find some Pearls after opening some Thick-shelled Clams, and if you’re so lucky to find some, they’re currently worth eight gold or so at the in-game Auction House.
Be sure to let us know how you’re getting on with finding the Iridescent Pearls within WoW Classic and if you’re using them for crafting certain gear or just simply selling them.
