World of Warcraft has been undergoing a little bit of a resurgence as of late, especially with the recent Blizzcon 2023 news, and one of these changes is coming in WoW Classic Season of Discovery, which should be here soon for players.
WoW Classic Season of Discovery: When will it be released?
While Season of Discovery isn’t exactly what players had in mind when they were dreaming of Blizzard releasing Classic+, this is a step in the right direction for many. This brand new streamline of content is going to be a consistent pipeline for Blizzard to reinvent and tell new stories from the classic version of WoW, with some unique twists.
With all this said, Blizzard has maintained that the first iteration of Season of Discovery will be released on November 30, 2023, and unlike other WoW releases, this will not have any form of beta or PTR for players to check out.
So, this is when everyone is going to be able to dive into this content and get to see what Blizzard has up their sleeves for us, including tanking Warlocks.

Blizzard is also not shying away from letting the public know that they intend to update the game more consistently to gauge players’ interest levels on certain additions or changes. However, one aspect to keep in mind is that it is Classic WoW, and the player base would rather not see the game changed too much.
In the meantime, we’ll be sure to get ready to dive into Season of Discovery so that we can discover all the changes within the Warcraft universe we love dearly.
