With the most recent Diablo 4 news, everyone is waiting for the Diablo story to continue its devilish course. So, when is the Diablo 4 DLC release date? Let’s find out.
Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred DLC Release Date
Not only did Blizzard announce three next expansions for World of Warcraft, but we also got to see a small preview of the first DLC for Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred. Back in September, Blizzard announced Diablo 4 annual DLC, but thanks to the Vessel of Hatred announcement we now have a better idea of what to expect. While they didn’t give an exact date of release, we can expect the new Diablo 4 DLC, Vessel of Hatred, to arrive in late 2024. The date might seem far away, but let’s remember that Diablo 4 seasons are still a major thing. Season 3 – currently unnamed – is coming in early 2024. January 23 seems to be the date if it starts as soon as the Season of the Blood ends.
The Vessel of Hatred teaser featured the narration of none other than Mephisto. He is known as the Lord of Hatred in the Diablo series. It doesn’t take a degree in rocket science to tie Mephisto with the Vessel of Hatred DLC. Remember that – and spoiler alert – after defeating Lilith, Mephisto was trapped inside a soulstone. However, his Herald, the Bloodied Wolf, is still able to wander and follow Neyrelle. She was the one who trapped him and is currently transporting him to the north. We can only imagine a being of his power setting himself free to bring chaos to Sanctuary and the new region of Nahantu.

While the exact date is not set yet, I think we are all excited to see how the new DLC for Diablo 4 will be implemented and how will it change the game! After all, Diablo 4 has been changing for good and slowly addressing issues from the original release. Let’s hope the game continues to grow in quality and, above all, in good old demonic quality.
