Modern Warfare 3 has been high-flying since its release, and with Season 1 drawing closer, fans are going to get a familiar map to grind away XP soon enough in the form of Shipment.
Modern Warfare 3: When is Shipment Coming?
For those unaware, Shipment has been within every Call of Duty in the last couple of years, with its resurgence in popularity spiking during Modern Warfare 2019, mainly due to its hectic close-quarter proximity and fast-paced matches.
It’s common to see players get over 80 kills during matches on this map, and this is largely due to the cluster of spawns, where enemies will spawn next to you, behind you, and in front of you more often than not.
So, it was assumed Infinity Ward was going to add the map again in Modern Warfare 3, and our assumption was correct, as it’s going to arrive before Season 1, which releases December 6.
Shipment will be coming to Modern Warfare 3 during the next playlist update, which occurs weekly on Thursdays, so November 30.

However, this won’t be the usual Shipment 24/7 playlist that we’ve become accustomed to, as it’ll be bundled within the new game mode called “Rustment.”
This mode will incorporate both Rust and Shipment in one, and players will get to decide on which map they’re going to play with the map-voting system. We don’t have a good look at what Shipment is going to look like in MW3, but we can assume it won’t change too much but will have a fresh coat of paint, as it does with each iteration.
