When does Fortnite Winterfest start?

When can you get your hands on those gifts?

Fortnite Winterfest is a hotly anticipated event that celebrates the cold festive season. We all want to know when it’ll start, so has it been confirmed?

Fortnite Winterfest start date

Unfortunately, we do not know exactly when Fortnite Winterfest will start. It is most likely to be initiated on the 13 to 19 of December if we look at the start dates of the previous Winterfests. It will last for two weeks, so it can’t be too far off, or it risks ending long after the wintery festive season has passed.

We are getting closer and closer to the event, so you can expect it to drop any day now. It is likely that it won’t get revealed ahead of time and that it’ll just suddenly drop on us. So keep checking Fortnite regularly to jump on as soon as you can!

Interestingly, this Winterfest is changing some things from previous Winterfest events.

Instead of all the presents being available at once, they will instead be available one at a time each day, so you will have no choice but to log on and play some games to unlock all the rewards. This change has likely been done to maintain engagement across the entire Winterfest season. At least you’ll have something to look forward to each day! It’ll be like some sort of advent calendar.

That’s not so bad though, especially if you enjoy the game.

There are 14 goodies up for grabs, and the event will last for two weeks. The quests will be different each day and are dependent on the item. Everything we know about the upcoming gifts and quests is all thanks to a serial Fortnite leaker, iFireMonkey. I have no idea how he’s an Epic Partner.
