Diablo 3: Season 30 release date

While Diablo 3 had a somewhat bumpy ride in May 2012, the game has continued to drop content up to the release of Season 30 – thirty seasons of content sounds like a major endeavor, kudos to you, Blizzard. Diablo 3 Season 30 is called The Lords of Hell. It will drop on January 12, exactly at 5 pm PST/CET/KST.

To all of you Diablo 3 veterans, this season may sound familiar. And you are completely right! Season 30 is the first season to feature the new Season theme rotation system, making The Lords of Hell theme from Season 25 appear again in Sanctuary. This will see the reintroduction of the Seven Soul shards that match the three Prime Evils of Diablo and the four Lesser Evils. Each player will be able to fuse themselves with the Evils by using these shards, granting them new demonic powers.

This is only the first of the many Seasonal inclusions that the game will feature. Blizzard will bring back iconic and memorable content from past Seasons every three months to Diablo 3. This will only make Diablo 3 a more complete and enjoyable game than it already is. Just be mindful that certain balance changes will take place. Both the Rites of Sancturay and Visions of Enmity themes will be the first ones to be adjusted.
