When do player custom loadouts unlock in MW3 Beta?

When do custom loadouts unlock in MW3?

Customizing your loadout is the main hook in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. However, if you’re just starting out in MW3, you’ll realize that you can’t customize your loadout just yet. Here is how to unlock custom loadouts in MW3.

How to unlock custom loadouts in MW3

The only way to unlock custom loadouts in MW3 is to get to level four. At level four, you’ll unlock custom loadouts which is where you’ll be able to select your gun, perks, and more.

It’s nice that right out of the gate, you get killstreaks (although you’ll need to level up to unlock all eight killstreak options) and access to Operators. If you pre-ordered the MW3 Vault Edition, you’ll even be able to equip Price, Ghost, Warden, or Makarov right from the start.

It took me one game of Hardpoint to get to level three in MW3, so on average, I’d say it takes about one to two games to reach level four in MW3. In the meantime, you’ll need to use one of the five premade loadouts, which aren’t too bad.

Once you reach level four in MW3, return to the lobby and tab over to the weapons section. Here, you can select custom loadouts and get right to making the best loadout in MW3.

But your leveling up grind has just begun. To get even more guns and perks, you need to continue leveling up. This is the main draw of MW3 and it’s a lot of fun just because the game itself is a lot of fun.

In the first week of the MW3 beta, you can only reach level 20. In the second week, you can climb to level 40. When MW3 fully releases, the level cap will be 65, but you can continue even higher once you prestige.
