If you want the best loot in CS2, you need to know when the weekly packages drop and how to get them. There are a few changes that occurred when CS:GO evolved into CS2, and something that changed was the way weekly care package drops work. After doing my research, here is everything I’ve discovered to help you know when weekly care package drops reset and how to use them.

When is the CS2 weekly reset? Time and date, explained
The weekly reset time in Counter-Strike 2 is every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. CT / 9:00 p.m. ET.
The reason for this strange weekly reset time is because CS2’s official reset time is every Wednesday at 1:00 a.m. GMT, which means it’s a day before at night for North American time zones.
How do weekly case drops work in CS2?
Every week, you get one weekly care package drop. You only get this if you rank up that week, which you do by gaining XP in official servers. The only way to get XP and rank up is to buy the Prime Status upgrade which costs $14.99 USD.
When you rank up enough times, you’ll be eligible to open a care package. You’ll have the choice of two cases: one has one or two skins and the other has one or two graffiti packages. Skins are always more valuable than graffiti, so I recommend picking that case drop.
After you have received on case drop within one week of CS2, you’ll need to wait for the next weekly reset to be eligible for another weekly care package.
CS:GO had two care package drops. One dropped randomly within the week which promoted idle players. This idle method of getting care package drops has been removed in CS2 so you can’t get anything from being idle. The other was based weekly and based on rank, and that method has not changed.
