Throughout your journey in Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom, you will encounter new puzzles, mysterious NPCs, and hidden items. One confusing puzzle is the bowl in Goddess Rest, which asks you to insert an item into it.
The problem is that there is no clue on which item it’s asking for. Look no further as this guide will walk you through where to find the item for the bowl in Goddess Rest in Remnant 2.
Remnant 2: What item should you put in the bowl at Goddess rest?
The item you need to insert into the bowl in Goddess Rest is the Cherished Fracture. The Cherished Fracture is a quest item that is found in the Luminous Vale section of the DLC, behind the giant statue that refuses to open. How do you open the statue, you say? We have you covered in the next section on that.
How to open the statue and get the Cherished Fracture in the Luminous Vale
When you first encounter the giant statue in Luminous Vale, you’ll notice that it refuses to open when you pull the lever. This is because the statue is jammed and it is up to you to figure out how to unjam it.
You can make the statue unstuck by destroying a blockade above the statue, which is preventing the waterfall from pouring into it. To reach the blockade, you need to progress through a side dungeon until you naturally reach the area above the statue. The good news is that this is on the main path and is impossible to miss. Here is where you should end up:
The waterfall you need to unclog is at this location. I reached this area by progressing through the Earthen Coliseum. Remember, due to the procedural generation of the game, you may reach the area above by progressing through a different side dungeon.
Once you destroy the blockade and the water runs down over the cliffside, it’s time to return to the lever for the statue. Now when you activate the lever, the statue will lower its hands and you can now progress through into the next room. Inside the room is the Cherished Fracture quest item for the bowl in Goddess Rest. Here is what the item looks like:
And here is the exact location of the Cherished Fracture on the in-game map:
What happens when you place the Cherished Fracture in the bowl in Goddess Rest?
Placing the Cherished Fracture into the bowl at Goddess Rest will summon Lydusa. She will be very grateful for you returning the last piece she needed and will reward you with the Blossoming Core crafting material. The Blossoming Core can be used to craft the Mirage melee weapon at Ward 13.
It’s very important to keep in mind that placing the Cherished Fracture in the bowl in Goddess Rest will skip the final boss of The Forgotten Kingdom DLC. If you wish to fight the final boss of the DLC, then bring the Cherished Fracture to Lydusa in The Bloodless Throne.
