We know LEGO Fortnite launches on December 7, 2023, but what time does it launch? For that, you’ve come to the right place.
LEGO Fortnite: Launch time, explained
Epic Games nor The LEGO Group have released a specific release time for LEGO Fortnite which leaves us all in the dark. When I researched this, I found conflicting opinions and theories on when exactly LEGO Fortnite would drop. Since we don’t have any concrete evidence from Epic of LEGO, here’s my best guess.

There are a couple of times LEGO Fortnite could be released. If it sticks to the regular Fortnite weekly reset schedule, then LEGO Fortnite will go live at 4 am PT / 7 am ET / 12 pm GMT (dreadful, I know). This is the earliest LEGO Fortnite may drop, so if you want to get in first thing, you may be waking up early.
Unfortunately, this may be the most likely time LEGO Fortnite drops. The hint we have at LEGO Fortnite’s release time is the Fortnite Item Shop Refresh Countdown. iFireMonkey on Twitter (or X) pointed out that the Fortnite Status Twitter account acted kind of sus when responding to the Item Shop Countdown being longer than usual. This could be a sign that LEGO Fortnite launches at 7 am ET.
The only other time LEGO Fortnite may go live is 9 am PT / 12 pm ET / 5 pm GMT. I’ve seen many people say that might be when LEGO Fortnite launches, but their only evidence is “they have a feeling,” basically. While I would love LEGO Fortnite to launch later in the day (for the sake of my sleep schedule) and it very well could launch at this time, I’m more convinced it’s going to launch earlier.
If you need to play LEGO Fortnite the second it launches, you might consider waking up early just to check if it has dropped yet. If it hasn’t, go back to bed and wait a few more hours.
