When does Destiny 2 Season of the Deep release?

Destiny 2 Season of the Deep releases on May 23, 2023. Cool, now what exact time does Season 21 start?

Destiny 2 Season of the Deep: Start time, explained

Destiny 2 Season of the Deep maintenance starts at 7:00am PT and the servers are expected to go offline then or around 8:15am PT.

From there, Season of the Deep will go live at 10:00am PT on May 23, 2023. Bungie is usually good at launching a new season right on time, but there may be a few bugs and error codes to iron out. If you run into trouble, be sure to check back in at PC Invasion for the answers you need to get right back into Season of the Deep.

Destiny 2 Season of the Deep new Strand Aspects, explained

There are plenty of new things coming in Season of the Deep to get excited for, but one of the big updates is three new Strand Aspects to enjoy — one for each class.

Titans get Flechette Storm which allows them to leap into the air and cause a Suspending shockwave after activating their charged melee while sliding. While they are airborne, they can use their charged melee again to launch Unraveling Strand slices at their enemies.

The new Warlock Strand Aspect is called The Wanderer. This new Strand Aspect allows thrown Tangles to Suspend enemies. Also, Threadling final blows create Tangles which creates a great synergy that involves Suspend, which I believe to be the best Strand verb.

Hunters get Threaded Specter which creates a Strand decoy after activating their class ability. The Strand decoy draws the enemy’s attention. Once destroyed, there’s a big Strand blast and Threadlings get released.
