Modern Warfar3: How to unlock Golden Throne

First of all, if you are picturing a golden and powerful weapon of sorts whenever you hear “Golden Throne,” you will need to lower your expectations. The Golden Throne is actually a Calling Card that you can unlock in Modern Warfare 3 using the Armory Unlocks mechanic. Oh yes, it’s time to use one of the most controversial aspects of the game. You see, to unlock the Golden Throne Calling Card you will need to complete a total of 30 Daily Challenges. If you can’t find it, go to the Armory Unlocks and, under the “All” tab, scroll down until you see the Calling Card challenge.

Now, you might be thinking, “Hey, but there are only a limited amount of Daily Challenges at a time, how much time will this take?” Well, not much if you are willing to invest a good chunk of your day. While there are only three unique challenges at a time, if you continue to either win matches in Multiplayer or complete contracts in Zombies mode then you will be able to complete and gather a good amount of Daily Challenges to unlock the Golden Throne. You will first have to activate it, though, because it doesn’t retroactively take into consideration any of your previously completed challenges.

Whether this reward is worth the trouble or not, there is no denying that the Calling Card does look cool. Well, at least for me, that is. Be sure to activate it in the Armory Unlocks, otherwise you’ll be stuck doing Daily Challenges forever, and that is something I would not wish for anyone.
