Diablo 4 is hosting its first annual holiday event in the form of the Midwinter Blight, and players will be checking out all the content, including one of the rewards, Gileon’s Brew. This powerful potion will be incredibly valuable for players, and we’re going to run over what it does.
Diablo 4: What is Gileon’s Brew?
The latest consumable item added into the game by Blizzard comes in the new holiday event, Midwinter Blight, and it’s going to be quite sought after from the get-go.
Gileon’s Brew is a homemade potion crafted by Gileon the Bard in Diablo 4, and it’ll provide players with a staggering 15% XP boost, along with increasing your max health and lucky hit chance by another 15%. This potion is going to last 30 minutes in total, and players will be able to use one right after their current one expires so that they can keep the buff up for longer.
So, as you can see, the potion is highly valuable for any ordinary player, especially ones looking to get a little bit of a boost before heading into Nightmare Dungeons and other endgame events.

So, players are going to want to seek this potion out, and as noted above, Gileon the Bard in Kyovashad is where players will want to purchase this potion.
Gileon is a brand new NPC introduced during the Midwinter Blight event, and Blizzard has noted that “the mysterious Bard Gileon works to ignite a spark of hope for the people of Kyovashad.”
Players will be able to exchange one Midwinter Proof, the currency introduced during the Midwinter Blight event, and players will be able to acquire further Proof by exchanging materials such as Blighted Fragments and Lost Heirlooms.
So, be sure to get grinding for this potion, as players will be able to carry these along with them after the event, making them the top farm target for the duration of the event.
