Where to Find Blue Access Cards in Warzone 2 DMZ building 21

What is Building 21 in Warzone 2 DMZ – Answered

Let me in.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded update brought about new content and plenty of changes. However, there is one particular new feature that may draw the eye of the more hardcore CoD crowd. The Season 1 patch notes mention a new area in DMZ mode. But what is Building 21 in Warzone DMZ, and how to you access it?

What is Building 21 in Warzone 2 DMZ

Building 21 is a bit of a puzzling existence in Warzone 2 DMZ mode. Briefly shown via a screenshot, the building houses a “biological laboratory.” The visual shows a darkened interior with few lights. Small trees still thrive in what looks like a lounge area, while a second raised section beckons players to explore more.

But what exactly is Building 21 all about? At the moment, the location remains a mystery, and what it hides is currently unknown. But whatever waits within, Activision states that it’s “outside of Al Mazrah” and is a “hyper-dangrous new area,” so only those properly ready and experienced should apply. Of course, getting might also be a challenge.

How to get in

According to Activision, access to Building 21 requires you to find new keys scattered around Al Mazrah. How many keys and where to find them is unknown. There’s a chance the keys can be acquired via a new HVT contract or by looting, but that’s mostly speculation. In a blog post, Activision writes that players “will need [REDACTED] and [REDACTED].” So, that certainly helps. However, if you run across a mysterious key, be sure to keep it in your inventory. It may grant you access to this creepy new lab.

“Its location is classified. Its benefactors are unknown,” Activision writes in the blog post. “But one thing is for certain about the clandestine biological laboratory codenamed Building 21: only the strongest Operators may survive, let alone access one of the deadliest areas of DMZ. Players will need [REDACTED] to access [REDACTED]. With this great risk comes great reward: high-tier Contraband found throughout the building, especially in safes and special areas that require keycard access. What other secrets await you in this facility?”
