What does Vampiric Curse do in Diablo 4 Season 2? Explained

Your soul is mine!

Being bitten by a vampire and becoming one may be a bummer, but fortunately, our characters have Lilith’s blood running through their veins. I don’t which is worse, to be honest, but thankfully this means that you will be able to take advantage of Vampiric Powers, without the need to be an undead flying creature with a severe garlic allergy. Here is what the Vampiric Curse does in Diablo 4 Season 2.

While you might think that the Vampiric Curse is just like a minor or major Vampiric Curse, it is actually a mechanic exclusive for Diablo 4 Season 2, Season of the Blood. You see, while using your newly acquired Vampiric Powers or Abilities, some of them will have the chance to inflict this Vampiric Curse. It does not do anything apparent during battle, but once you have killed enemies inflicted with this curse, you will be able to store their souls. Once you cast an Agility, Defensive, or Macabre skill, stored souls will be unleashed to attack the enemy you are targeting. You can carry a total of 8 souls with the Vampiric Curse mechanic.

Here is the list of Vampiric Powers that can inflict Vampiric Curse on enemies:

Vampiric PowerEffect
Coven’s FangsYour Conjuration, Companion, Minion, and Bat Familiar attacks deal 52% increased damage to Crowd Controlled enemies. Lucky Hit: Your Conjuration, Companion, Minion, and Bat Familiar have up to a 30% chance to inflict Vampiric Curse when hitting enemies.
